System/Products
Xoma offers its groundbreaking CLAS system (Closed Loop Aquaculture System) to various stakeholders, including agricultural companies, research and development institutions, and other commercial enterprises. The CLAS technology enables efficient and sustainable algae cultivation in controlled environments, providing users with a unique opportunity to produce high-quality algae with minimal environmental impact.
Xoma's business model is built on multiple revenue streams, creating a stable and scalable operation:

  • Sale of complete facilities: Xoma sells fully-equipped cultivation facilities to its customers, such as farmers and other actors in food production. These facilities are fully equipped with CLAS technology and ready for immediate operation.
  • Algae buyback: To ensure a stable cash flow and long-term partnerships, Xoma offers to buy back the algae produced in the facilities at a fixed price over the contract period, which spans 5-7 years. This provides customers with security and predictability in their business operations.
  • Sales to food wholesalers and further processing: Xoma also sells the produced algae to food wholesalers, where the products can be further processed into various food and health products. This helps increase the value of the algae and broadens the market for Xoma's products.

The algae produced in the CLAS system are harvested weekly, providing continuous cash flow for Xoma and its customers. With a 50-60% growth rate per day for certain algae, the production capacity is exceptionally high, enabling customers to meet the increasing global demand for sustainable algae products.

This business model makes Xoma's operations both scalable and stable. By combining the sale of cultivation facilities with recurring revenues from algae production, Xoma can offer its customers a complete and profitable solution for sustainable cultivation. At the same time, this creates a solid and diversified revenue stream for the company, strengthening its long-term growth potential.

Licensing
Xoma is actively exploring opportunities to license its groundbreaking CLAS technology to strategic partners in aquaculture and other related industries. By offering licenses for our technology, we can expand our reach and accelerate the adoption of sustainable cultivation systems globally while also enhancing our partners' ability to produce algae in an environmentally friendly and cost-effective manner.

Licensing allows companies and organizations to benefit from our innovative technology without developing their systems from scratch. Our licensing programs will be designed to meet the needs of various types of actors, from small-scale growers to large industries. They will include comprehensive technical support, training, and access to our latest research and development results.

Through strategic licensing agreements, Xoma and its partners can jointly contribute to meeting the rapidly growing global demand for sustainable algae products. This enables us to spread our technology and build long-term collaborations that promote innovation and sustainable growth within the aquaculture sector.
We see licensing as a critical component in our strategy for global expansion, and we are open to collaborating with like-minded companies that share our vision of a more sustainable future.
